Jason Sullivan — Founder of True Dossier
From Digital Strategist to Target
Jason Sullivan played a pivotal behind-the-scenes role in helping Donald J. Trump secure victory in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.
As a data strategist and social-media intelligence specialist, he pioneered real-time systems to amplify pro-Trump messaging, mobilize grassroots energy, and counter mainstream media narratives with precision.
After President Trump’s decisive victory, Sullivan’s name surfaced during the FBI’s and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference and supposed coordination with the Trump campaign.
Despite having committed no wrongdoing, Sullivan found himself unexpectedly at the center of the most politically charged investigation in modern American history.
The Knock at the Door
FBI agents were first dispatched to Jason’s mother’s home and then to his residence in San Diego — located several counties away — where they missed him.
Agents subsequently questioned several individuals familiar with Sullivan about his professional work in support of the campaign.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Sullivan immediately retained legal counsel after being served with two federal subpoenas from the Office of Special Counsel:
A subpoena for all of his electronic communications, including emails, phone records, and digital correspondence.
A subpoena compelling his personal testimony before a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C.
Flown Across the Country
The FBI insisted that Jason appear in Washington, D.C. for questioning — deliberately scheduling it on his daughter’s birthday.
Sullivan insisted to come in sooner, and the Bureau flew him across the country to Washington, D.C.
Upon arrival, agents placed him in a low-budget roach motel.
The following day, he was taken to an FBI building, where he was interrogated for hours inside a secure, restricted-access guarded room and threatened he would face prosecution if he refused to cooperate or withheld information.
The Evidence They Never Released
During the course of the interrogation, Sullivan provided clear evidence demonstrating that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia via WikiLeaks.
He presented investigators with direct communications between WikiLeaks and a longtime close advisor to Donald Trump, proving there was no coordination, conspiracy, or foreign interference in any of the communications.
Sullivan was warned that if he went on a media “road show” discussing the contents of the interview, they would be watching.
The FBI never presented Sullivan’s evidence to the public.
Before the Grand Jury
The very next day, Sullivan appeared before a federal grand jury at the E. Barrett Prettyman United States Federal Courthouse, where he endured additional questioning in front of at least twenty grand jurors.
Sullivan survived his testimony and was not charged with any wrongdoing.
The Turning Point
Following this whole ordeal and the life-altering disruption of his life, Sullivan swore that he would get to the very bottom of the “Russia, Russia, Russia” hoax — and he did.
Through relentless investigation, analysis, and first-hand knowledge of the events and many of the players involved, he uncovered the mechanisms, actors, and false narratives that fueled one of the most consequential political deceptions in American history.
The Birth of True Dossier
Now, through his personal experience of having had a front-row seat in the center of the Russian-collusion storm, Jason Sullivan created True Dossier — a premier investigative intelligence and media-research platform dedicated to ensuring that America never again endures the devastation of another fake dossier.
Today
Today, Jason Sullivan serves as the Chief In-House Investigator for Peter Ticktin, the life-long friend and trusted lead local counsel to President Donald J. Trump, at The Ticktin Law Group.
